Welcome!
Our mission is to improve the lives of community cats in and around Charlotte, NC through Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, and Return (TNVR).
About Friends of Feral Felines
We’re celebrating 26 years of advocating for community cats. We’ve been around since 1998!
FFF is an all volunteer run nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization located in Charlotte, NC with a mission to improve the lives of community cats through Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, and Return (TNVR). We educate and work with the public on the humane management of feral and stray community cats by offering spay/neuter subsidies and financial assistance for injury/illness and crisis care of community cats. FFF partners with citizens who care by providing in-person education, mentorship, and support through email, a phone hotline, social media, and a website.
In 2024, FFF subsidized the spay/neuter and vaccinations services of 1,936 community cats in and around Charlotte, NC.
We help our community by…
Educating the public about feral and stray community cats and the importance of Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, & Return (TNVR).
Providing information about low-cost spay/neuter clinics that work with community cats in our area.
Loaning humane (live) traps to citizens in and around Charlotte, NC and providing training on how to use them. Call our Hotline or Contact Us to get more information.
Please note that FFF is not a foster, rescue, or animal shelter. We provide resources about TNVR but do not intake or relocate community cats.
Our Community Cat Partners
We appreciate the partnerships we have with the Humane Society of Charlotte Animal Resource Center (HSC), Charlotte-Mecklenberg Animal Care and Control (CMACC), and Pet Supermarket - Matthews. Click their logos to learn more about their organizations.
